If you possess the expertise, passion, and commitment to excellence, we invite you to become part of our healthcare community committed to innovation and patient outcomes.Required Skills:Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiac SurgeryActive PA Medical LicenseDEA CertificationMinimum of 1 year post-qualification experience in cardiothoracic surgeryProficiency in urgent surgical procedures and patient managementStrong clinical judgment and decision-making skillsExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesAbility to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure situationsExperience with EPIC EMR systemNice to Have Skills:Experience supporting advanced procedures, excluding TAVRsPrior work in hospital environments with ICU and emergency surgeriesAdditional certifications in advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) or perioperative carePreferred Education and Experience:Successful completion of residency and fellowship in cardiothoracic surgeryProven track record of managing adult patients (18+)At least 1 year of relevant surgical experience in a hospital settingOther Requirements:Valid Pennsylvania medical licenseDEA certificationFlexibility to work scheduled shifts from Friday at 12 pm through Monday at 7 am, including weekends and on-call hoursAvailability for credentialing within approximately 90 daysWillingness to support staff with APP and provide backup for urgent surgeriesWillingness to work 3 weekends per month with 24-hour call coverageEarn competitive hourly pay of $3,695.25 for this ongoing contract position.
