Your expertise will directly impact patient recovery and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional healthcare.Required Skills:Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiac SurgeryValid PA medical licenseDEA certificationMinimum of 1 year of post-training experience in cardiac surgeryProficiency in using EPIC EMR systemAbility to perform urgent surgeries and support postoperative careStrong decision-making and teamwork abilitiesExcellent communication skills to coordinate with multidisciplinary teamsNice to Have Skills:Experience with advanced cardiac procedures beyond TAVRsFamiliarity with hospital staffing workflows and on-call schedulingAdditional certifications in advanced cardiac life support (ACLS)Preferred Education and Experience:Medical degree from an accredited institutionCompletion of a cardiothoracic surgery fellowshipPrior experience working in hospital environments with similar patient populationsOther Requirements:Valid Pennsylvania medical licenseDEA certificationWillingness to participate in 24/7 on-call rotationAll necessary credentials completed within 90 days of start date; temp licenses available for qualified candidatesTravel and licensure reimbursements when applicableCompensation:Hourly Pay Rate: $3,695.25Benefits include comprehensive medical coverage (W-2), weekly direct deposit pay, paid sick leave, licensure, certification, travel reimbursements, and a robust referral bonus programSchedule: Friday 12 PM to Monday 7 AM with 24-hour call support; support staff includes Advanced Practice Providers (APP).
