This includes maintaining positive tenant relations, encouraging high occupancy levels, keeping the property in good physical condition, and developing a marketing campaign to attract tenants. The ideal candidate should have experience in managing affordable housing (LIHTC) properties, fair housing laws, as well as LIHTC guidelines and requirements.Responsibilities:Schedules, coordinates and supervises the duties of on-site staffEnsure rent collectionAddress tenant concerns and needs in a timely mannerPerforms regular property inspectionsEnsure staff follow proper tenant intake proceduresEnsure money management guidelines are followedExcellent organizational and communication skillsEnsure tenant delinquencies are less than 6% of monthly billedDevelop a marketing campaign to keep occupancy levels at 95% or betterAbility to read profit and loss statementsRequirementsRequirementsThree (3) years of property management experience requiredKnowledge of tax credit program preferred but not requiredProficiency with YARDI property management software preferredProficient in MS Office packageValid driver's license and proof of automobile insurancePhysical Requirements:Frequent bending stooping and reaching in all directionsRepetitive use of hands and fingers entering data using a keyboardStanding for extended periods of timeWalking for extended periods of time checking unitsMust be able to lift up to 25lbs.Education: High School Diploma or GED
