Machine Operator

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience operating various machinery in a manufacturing facility. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Duties - Operate and monitor machinery including lathes and Fanuc systems to ensure optimal performance. - Perform routine maintenance on machines to prevent breakdowns and ensure efficiency. - Utilize calipers and other measuring tools to verify product specifications and quality. - Handle materials safely, ensuring proper packaging and storage practices are followed. - Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot mechanical issues as they arise. - Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards. - Assist in training new operators on machine operation and safety procedures. Skills - Proficient in operating machinery such as lathes, welders, and Fanuc systems. - Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance. - Experience in materials handling within a manufacturing environment. - Familiarity with using calipers and other precision measuring tools. - Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting while also being self-motivated. - Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. - Forklift operation experience is a plus but not required.
