Plumbing Service Technician 📍 Myrtle Beach, SC🏢 Jake’sPosition Overview Jake’s is seeking an experienced Plumbing Service Technician to join our growing team in Myrtle Beach, SC. This role is ideal for a skilled service plumber who takes pride in high-quality workmanship, customer satisfaction, and professionalism. The right candidate will diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and/or light commercial plumbing systems while providing excellent customer service in the field.Pay & Benefits Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) Commission and bonus opportunities Steady year‑round work Company vehicle (if applicable) Advancement opportunities within a growing company Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair plumbing systems, including water heaters, fixtures, drains, and piping Perform service work such as leak detection, repairs, replacements, and troubleshooting Communicate clearly with customers regarding findings, repairs, and recommendations Complete accurate job documentation and service notes using company software Follow all safety, code, and company standards Work closely with dispatch and other team members to ensure timely service Maintain clean and professional appearance on all job sites Minimum Qualifications 3+ years of hands‑on plumbing service experience Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Knowledge of local plumbing codes and best practices Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Strong communication and customer service skills Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude Preferred Qualifications Plumbing license or certifications (a plus, not required) Experience with residential service work Comfortable using mobile devices and service software Skills & Competencies Excellent problem‑solving abilities High attention to detail and quality craftsmanship Strong customer‑focused mindset Ability to work in a fast‑paced service environment Team‑oriented with a positive attitude Why Join Jake’s?
