Program Manager

Program ManagerAs Program Manager, you will build multi-regional, cross-functional teams to achieve desired results within budget, at specified quality, cost, and functionality requirements, and within the overall program schedule. You will also support organizational processes to improve program execution speed and effectiveness, including analyzing and supporting correction of systemic and/or organizational gaps.Responsibilities:Manage NPI projects and programs to ensure objectives are met on budget, on time, and with required quality and functionality.Lead global cross functional teams to meet project objectivesLead the delivery of new products through the Hussmann NPI gate processSupport process improvement activities with Hussmann PMO LeaderDrive cross-functional accountability of NPI programs to deliver new products and processes for the Retail businessAssess programs cross-functional resource requirements and proactively engage sponsors and functional leaders to fill resource gaps on a timely basis to ensure project successPresent NPI/NTD Programs at regular Program Review meetings; Manage expectations of senior leadership through early disclosure of risks/issues; Engage program sponsors proactively for their supportAssess NPI/NTD Program deliverables, risks and timing; Use critical path management methodologies to manage Schedule, Scope and Resource requirements; Lead scheduling and planning efforts to build detailed resource loaded project plans, and maintain plans throughout the project to provide accurate planned vs actual vs forecasted data to stakeholdersLead efforts to manage global resources, and forecast demand vs capacity to ensure project performance supports business objectives and revenue commitmentsKey Competencies and Success Factors:Build efficient, realistic plans and detailed actions to achieve objectives; Sets priorities effectively and organizes information; Delegates work and coordinates resources to maximize resultsProven ability to manage projects and holds self and others accountable to project milestones and resultsTakes accountability for getting work done; is resourceful in identifying creative solutions to difficult problemsDemonstrates effective consulting, negotiating, and persuasive skills to diverse audiences, promoting constructive confrontation and issue resolution; Presents information in a clear and accurate mannerStrong business acumen; Ability to drive strategy, influence practices, processes and policies that result in competitive advantage; Continuously works to deliver value through process improvementProactively ensure customer requirements translate into program requirements, responds promptly to customer needs and advocates resolution of issues important to stakeholdersStrong skills leading cross functional teams with ability to influence and create action with no direct reporting responsibilityQualifications:A minimum of 6 years leading projectsA minimum of 7 years of related business experienceBachelor's Degree in a technical field, or Bachelor's Degree with equivalent technical experience is requiredExperience working in two or more functional areas; Engineering, Project Management, Manufacturing, Quality, and/or OperationsMust have Microsoft Project Expertise, and hands-on skill required for daily useExperience running cross functional projects is requiredExperience operating within a stage/phase gate process is requiredPMI (Project Management Institute) PMP certification preferredGlobal project management experience a plusManufacturing product implementation experience, a plusNew Product Development experience a plusFluency in English and Spanish is a plusAble to travel up to 5-10% of the timeBenefits & Perks What's In It For You:Hussmann is committed to supporting your total wellbeing through a wide variety of benefits and wellness programs to support your physical, emotional, financial, social, and environmental health.
