Job DescriptionJob Duties: Diagnose, treat and prevent communicable diseases; offer comprehensive care for acute and chronic infections caused by bacteria, viruses and fungi; consult with patients at Saint Luke's Hospital of Kansas City and the Saint Luke's Infectious Disease Clinic; evaluate and treat patients with a wide range of serious conditions including infections and infectious diseases; diagnose unknown infections and manage the care of patients with complex communicable diseases; counsel patients on antimicrobial agents, antibiotic resistance, vaccines and other immunobiological agents; treat immunocompromised patients with high risk for serious infection.QualificationsThe minimum requirements for the Position Offered are a Doctor of Medicine degree (MD) or foreign equivalent; completion of a fellowship in Infectious Disease; completion of a fellowship in Transplant Infectious Disease; Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine; a Missouri medical license by the time of appointment.Employment DetailsFull-time, Day shift, United States of America.Equal Opportunity Employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr
