Join us on this meaningful journey where your skills, compassion and dedication will make a remarkable difference in the lives of those we serve.How You'll ContributeAn Office Coordinator who excels in this role:This position is responsible for supporting the needs of the department with a focus on clinical, operational, and administrative excellence.Essential FunctionsMaintains supply of therapeutic tools such as worksheets, videos, and games for clinician usePer the therapist dictation maintains the programming scheduleSupports with charge reconciliation and entering as requiredSupports team with patient group assignments and coordination effortsProvides impeccable customer service to patients, families, referral sources, and stakeholdersSupports with vital and UDS capture as neededCompletes DCAR reporting in a timely and accurate fashionSupports in organizing and filing paperworkMaintains staff schedules and ensures staffing for the programMonitors and records attendance including tardiness and absencesCommunicates with treatment team to ensure chart complianceInterfaces with others to ensure completion of physician follow-ups from CPEManages Family Session Schedules as required by programWork with the business office and the utilization review department to ensure payment for servicesPreform pre-certifications and concurrent reviewsDevelop relationships with payer sourcesInterfaces with UR department to ensure service coverage for patientsMaintain a positive working relationship with referral sources, community agencies and organizationsMaintains program and patient information and data to create reports, census, and assist the Business Office in reportingSchedules CPEs, nursing assessments, H&P and psychosocial assessment with appropriate clinician and per required timeframeSchedules or completes UDS collections, including random screeningsEnsures orders are obtained for patients prior to starting services (as applicable)Actively participate in the therapist's discharge planning needsAs directed creates appointments, starts follow up care process and completes interfacing with organizationsCross trains and supports in various outpatient functions including PCA, transportation, and financial counselingConducts appointment reminder callsCollects copays and deductibles as applicableManages organizational tools to ensure efficient operations including bed boards/group room assignments, treatment team schedule, flash reports, etcOther responsibility and duties assigned by leadershipWhat We're Looking ForApplicants should have a high school diploma or GED (preferred). Additional requirements include: Previous experience on an inpatient unit preferred.
