HV Project Manager

We’re looking for a strong HV Project Manager with experience across substations, switchyards, and utility-scale solar projects. The role will cover the full project lifecycle, from materials and PO management through to construction, energization, and commissioning.Strong HV technical knowledge is essential, particularly around substations, control houses, wiring, QA/QC, terminations, and commissioning activities. Experience working in regulated utility environments or around energized systems would be beneficial, although direct AEP experience is not required.The role will also require solid coordination and leadership experience, including subcontractor management, RFIs, engineering coordination, and working closely with supers, engineering teams, and utility stakeholders.Ideally, candidates will have 3–5 years of hands-on field experience before moving into project management and be comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-pressure construction environments.The project is a 155MW solar project involving both a substation and switchyard scope, with potential future BESS integration.This position is primarily remote, with up to 25% travel.Qualifications/RequirementsBachelor's Degree or equivalent experienceStrong business acumen in project planning and managementStrong verbal, written, and organizational skillsOpenness to 25% travel
