Join our team and become part of a company full of exciting opportunities.We help employees achieve their personal best by offering many opportunities that develop and enhance their skills for career advancement.DUTIESOther duties as assigned or may be necessary that are not listed below.Preparing specifications for purchases of mechanical equipment and materials and estimating material, labor, or construction costs for budget preparation for generation projectsWriting reports and compiling data regarding existing and potential mechanical engineeringprojects and studies and provide technical support to other departments and personnel as neededEnsuring compliance with specifications, codes, or customer requirements by directing or coordinating installation, manufacturing, construction, maintenance, documentation, support, or testing activitiesEstablishing construction, manufacturing, or installation standards or specifications by performing a wide range of detailed calculationsEvaluate and review mechanical equipment and piping size and layoutsConstruction drawing reviews of P&ID, and equipment layoutsCollaborate with customers, coworkers, and others to discuss existing or potential mechanical engineering products or projects and monitor project progress and budget, and prepare reports for upper managementEquipment drawing and vendor submittal reviewsDesigning, maintaining, implementing, or improving mechanical instruments, facilities, components, equipment products, or systems for industrial, commercial, or domestic purposesDesign, control, and implement mechanical systems and products and serve as the primary point of contact with clients for all mechanical engineering project matters. Manage the development and implementation of mechanical systemsComplete site visits as necessary to support engineering and construction of the project.KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIESAnalytical and problem-solving skillsMechanical Engineering and technical skillsWritten and verbal communication skills Organizational skills and attention to detail Experience with the design and specification of power generation fluid systems including steam, condensate, fuel gas, cooling water compressed air, and similar systems.Proficient in MS Office, with aptitude for learning new softwareEDUCATIONBachelor's degree in mechanical, welding or industrial engineering from an ABET accredited program OR Engineering degree from a non-ABET accredited program plus a Professional Engineering license in Mechanical EngineeringEXPERIENCE4 - 7 years Relevant experienceAdditional InfoAt FastTek Global, Our Purpose is Our People and Our Planet .
