Job DescriptionWarehouse Lead Summary: Warehouse Lead - will work in a dynamic environment and keep up with the high energy pace of distribution center and play a crucial role in our nationwide distribution operation-ensuring that all customers receive the highest level of order fulfillment and quality possible. The Imperial Distribution Center is more than just a warehouse, it is a collaborative environment where we work together to safely receive, inventory, pick, pack and ship products to our customers. Here’s what else you can expect as a Warehouse Lead:Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Directing the efficient and cost-effective operation of the warehouse facility. Managing inbound activities related to the receipt and storage of goods. overseeing outbound activities related to order-filling and stock replenishment. Effectively and efficiently package outbound shipments to customers, this includes building pallets and crating, and to act as backup delivery driver. Ensure trucks/ trailers are efficiently and accurately loaded/unloaded to. Supports the efficient movement of goods and materials to their destinations. to fulfill commitment to our customers and support sales objectives. Maintains standards for cleanliness, organization, and safety throughout the warehouse. Ensure that safety and compliance practices meet DOT and OSHA standards. Frequently communicate with all levels of management. Performs administrative activities associated with the effective management warehouse operations, including compiling, storing and retrieving. Warehouse data reports. Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of warehouse/delivery experience. Ability to drive a hi-lo forklift. Ability to work independently to ensure efficient operation of warehouse. Ability to build pallets and crates effectively. Strong written and verbal communication skills, analytical, math and problem-solving skills. Must have good skills in Microsoft Office applications including advanced proficiency with MS Word & Excel. Experience in tracking metrics, including key performance indicators such as overages and transfers. Strong customer service focus. Ability to manage multiple tasks. The ideal candidate will also have prior experience in the amusement or vending industry – but not necessary.
