IP Litigation Associate

Job Description SUMMARY:Our client, is a national law firm with multiple locations across the United States, has an immediate opening for an Intellectual Property Litigation Associate with 3 to 7 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have experience with Patent Litigation with a background in electrical engineering, computer science, or artificial intelligence. This individual will work within their Technology, Manufacturing & Transportation business group.RESPONSIBILITIES:Handle all aspects of IP litigation, including patent, trade secret, and copyright disputes.Assist in developing case strategy, prepare legal arguments, and argue motions in court.Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests; handle e-discovery and take/defend depositions of witnesses and experts.Mentor junior associates and provide guidance on case tasks.QUALIFICATIONS:Must have 3-7 years of substantial patent or IP litigation experience.JD (Juris Doctor) Degree from an ABA accredited Law SchoolActive Bar Membership in Good Standing within the State where Role is Located.Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer ScienceMust be able to demonstrate exceptional judgment, the ability to effectively handle multiple projects, and the ability to articulate legal strategies & courses of action.Must have strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
