Engineering Manager

A high-level overview of duties includes, but is not limited to:Business Development: Collaborate with Strategic Partners, General Managers and Discipline Leads across the company to grow the business as guided by the strategic plan. Provide initial review comments of contracts to President and COO for final review and comment. Maintain/contribute to business development pipeline including up-selling company services into existing clients. Serve as key account manager as needed including promoting and representing Company to external stakeholders. Lead, prepare and review proposals and marketing materials.Project Management: Provide oversight on projects, ensuring delivery on scope, on budget, on quality and on schedule. Contribute technically or managerially on projects as needed. Deliver expected financial results for the Pittsburgh office.Leadership: Support recruiting, onboarding, learning and development and engagement of the professionals and staff within the office and practice areas including planning and organizing events. Ensure compliance with all company and customer policies and procedures. Manage personnel within the office with responsibility for resolving issues in coordination with HR and senior leadership as needed. Responsible for aspects of property and facility management in coordination with senior leadership.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field. Professional Engineering license is preferred.Significant experience in technical design and project management with consulting engineering firms with 10 or more years in a supervisory capacity.Exceptional business acumen and customer relationship management skills as well as excellent communication (written and verbal) skills.
