Residential Care Staff (OK Site)

We provide high-quality, person-centered services and rely on accurate insurance verification to ensure our Consumers receive timely access to care without disruption.Cleaning & Household TasksMaintain a safe, clean, and hygienic living environment for residentsPerform daily cleaning: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchensMonitor cleaning supplies and stock inventory; notify supervisor when replenishment is neededAssist with minor household maintenance and report any facility issues (e.g., plumbing, lighting, safety concerns) to managementMeal Preparation & CookingPlan and prepare nutritious meals based on dietary guidelines and individual needsFollow standardized menus and accommodate special diets as needed.Shop for food and supplies, adhering to budget and managing receiptsMaintain kitchen cleanliness: wash dishes, sanitize surfaces, organize storageStore food safely, monitor expiration dates, and manage disposal of spoiled itemsResident Interaction & SupportBuild respectful, friendly relationships with residentsAssist residents with minor personal tasks as needed (e.g., meal setup, cleanup) while encouraging independenceObserve and report any changes in residents' health, mood, or behavior to the supervisorEngage residents in community life and encourage social interaction during meal and common timesCompliance, Safety & DocumentationFollow facility protocols, including infection control, fire safety, and safe food handlingMaintain accurate daily logs: cleaning checklists, meal records, inventory usageParticipate in safety inspections and contribute to maintaining compliance with licensing standardsAttend regular staff meetings, training, and shift handoversRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentProven experience in residential or group-home setting, hospices, assisted living, or custodial servicesStrong cooking skills and knowledge of nutrition and food safetyAbility to follow cleaning protocols and safely handle chemical productsExcellent communication skillsboth verbal and writtenPatience, empathy, and sensitivity toward individuals with diverse needs or behaviorsAbility to lift reasonably heavy items (up to 50 lbs), stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasksPreferredPrior experience working with adults with developmental disabilities or mental health conditionsCertification in food handling, CPR/First AidValid driver's license and clean driving record for running errandsSchedule & CompensationSchedule: Full-time (3040 hrs/week), including days, evenings, and occasional weekendsPay: Competitive daily wage (exact rate based on qualifications)Benefits: Ongoing training, and opportunities for advancementAP/EEO STATEMENTIt is the policy of Prestige Healthcare Resources, Inc. to provide equal employment opportunity (EEO) to all persons regardless of age, color, national origin, citizenship status, physical or mental disability, race, religion, creed, gender, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, genetic information, marital status, status with regard to public assistance, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law.
