Account Manager Full-Time | Manufacturing EnvironmentPosition OverviewLaser Industries is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Account Manager to support customer order management and communication within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for coordinating with customers on purchase orders, managing order status and shipment updates, and working closely with internal departments to ensure accurate information and on-time deliveries.Laser Industries is a growing aerospace sheet metal and machining company located in Fullerton, California. With over 35 years of industry experience, the company supports aerospace and commercial customers through laser cutting, waterjet cutting, CNC machining, forming, welding, and assembly.ResponsibilitiesConfirm and process incoming customer purchase orders.Manage customer portals, including shipment updates and order status management.Track shipments and provide status updates to customers as needed.Prepare and send Requests for Quote (RFQs) to customers.Update and maintain accurate status information on existing customer orders.Review open order reports regularly to identify discrepancies or potential issues.Coordinate with production and quality departments to ensure on-time shipments and resolution of any quality concerns.QualificationsAssociate’s degree or equivalent required; degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.Experience with production planning, including job release and scheduling, is preferred.Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office.Ability to problem solve independently and proactively address issues.Professional written and verbal communication skills, including email and phone interactions.Experience with MRP/ERP software is a plus.Schedule and CompensationMonday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PMPay range: $25.00- $30.00/hour, based on experienceFull-time positionBenefits401(k)Medical, dental, and vision insurancePaid vacation, sick time, and paid holidays
