About the Opportunity:
The SAP APPLICATION DEVELOPER role is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting custom enhancements, integrations, and reports within large enterprise SAP environments. This position covers the entire development lifecycle, collaborating closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders to ensure effective solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop custom enhancements and integrations in SAP landscapes
- Support reports and technical solutions in SAPParticipate in requirements analysis and technical design
- Perform hands-on coding and unit testing
- Conduct performance tuning and diagnostics
- Provide post-go-live support
- Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders throughout the process
Requirements:
- Six or more years of professional ABAP development experience, especially with S/4HANAStrong hands-on expertise with ABAP OO, CDS views, AMDPs, and HANA-optimized ABAPExperience building OData services and integrating with Fiori applications
- Proficiency with enhancement frameworks such as BADIs, user exits, implicit/explicit enhancements
- Experience with integration technologies including IDoc, RFC, BAPI, and Web Services
- Solid understanding of SAP module data structures (FI/CO, SD, MM, or PP)
- Familiarity with performance tuning tools (SAT, ST05) and HANA diagnostic tools
- Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager, ChaRM, and SAP transport management
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with S/4HANA system conversions or greenfield implementations
- Exposure to SAP BTP, ABAP RAP, or steampunk
- Hands-on experience with Fiori/UI5 development
- Familiarity with SAP CPI / Integration SuiteSAP-certified ABAP developer credentials
- Pay Range and Compensation Package:
Salary range: $100,000–$150,000 annually
