Overview
A PROMIS MES Specialist in the semiconductor industry is responsible for implementing configuring and supporting the PROMIS Manufacturing Execution System MES within a semiconductor fabrication facility This role requires a deep understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes equipment and yield management in addition to PROMIS MES functionalities The specialist will collaborate with engineering operations and quality teams to optimize production efficiency improve product quality and enhance overall equipment effectiveness OEE
Qualifications
12 years of proven experience in implementing and supporting MES systems PROMIS in a semiconductor manufacturing environment
Indepth knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes equipment and yield management
Strong understanding of statistical process control SPC and data analysis techniques
Proficiency in database management and SQL
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a crossfunctional team
Responsibilities
PROMIS MES Implementation
oLead the implementation of PROMIS MES modules tailored to semiconductor manufacturing including wafer tracking equipment monitoring process control and yield management
oConfigure system parameters workflows and user interfaces to align with semiconductor industry standards and specific process requirements
oDevelop and execute test plans to ensure system functionality and data integrity
oProvide comprehensive training to semiconductor operators engineers and technicians on PROMIS MES usage
System Support and Maintenance
oTroubleshoot and resolve PROMIS MESrelated issues in a timely manner to minimize production downtime
oPerform system upgrades patches and configuration changes as required
oMonitor system performance and identify opportunities for optimization
oEnsure data accuracy and consistency within the PROMIS MES database
Process Improvement
oAnalyze semiconductor manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies
oUtilize PROMIS MES data to generate reports and identify trends impacting yield and cycle time
oCollaborate with engineering and operations teams to implement process improvements and optimize equipment utilization
Yield Management
oSupport yield improvement initiatives by analyzing PROMIS MES data to identify defect patterns and root causes
oImplement yield tracking and reporting mechanisms within PROMIS MES
oCollaborate with quality engineering to enhance product quality and reduce defects
Equipment Integration
oIntegrate semiconductor equipment with PROMIS MES to enable realtime data collection and analysis
oConfigure equipment communication interfaces and data mapping
oMonitor equipment performance and identify maintenance needs
Data Management and Reporting
oManage and maintain product process and equipment data within PROMIS MES
oGenerate reports and dashboards to provide insights into production performance yield and equipment efficiency
oEnsure data compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
Desired Skills
Experience with other semiconductor industry software eg EDA SPC FA
Knowledge of semiconductor industry standards eg SEMI IPC
Lean Six Sigma certification

Benefits
Compensation range: $ 120,000.00 to 180,000.00 per year
