Material Handlers Hiring for Material Handlers - $18.47/hrLocation: Saint Charles, Missouri, 63301Start Date: Can start immediately!Shifts Available6:00am - 2:30pmResponsibilitiesLoad and unload trucks safely and efficiently.Accurately receive, verify, and inventory incoming shipments of merchandise and raw materials, ensuring quality, correct quantity, and proper labeling.Complete required paperwork for receipt of merchandise timely and accurately.Understand processes for handling products that do not meet quality, quantity, and packaging standards.Print labels, drawings, and purchase orders as required.Operate a forklift to move, stack, load, or unload materials in compliance with safety standards and operating procedures.Ensure scanning accuracy in all aspects of receiving and material handling.Ensure receiving inspections are completed and labeled appropriately.Assist with inventory of merchandise and raw materials.Assist in tagging and storage preparation of products.Precisely pull material for production utilizing related reports and priority lists.Maintain acceptable levels of material storage and uphold a 5S standard in coordination with the plant.Verify and refer to Bill of Materials (BOM).Operate yard dog properly and safely when needed.Train others on receiving processes and procedures.Resolve complex problems and train others to handle daily challenges.Maintain a high level of productivity with little supervision.Perform tasks safely, including wearing safety glasses and gloves as per JHA requirements.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsExperience in manufacturing assembly is preferred.Ability to read a tape measure in fractions and decimals.Knowledge of packaging, assembly, labeling, and packing.Proficiency in using hand tools and general labor tasks.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to follow written and verbal instructions.Proficiency with shipping software and data entry.Experience with warehouse operations and distribution.Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.Initiative and ability to complete tasks with little supervision.Why Work Here?We offer a comprehensive benefits package including weekly pay, health, dental, and vision insurance with plans that are 75% company paid.
