Certified Mobility Consultant (Automotive Sales)
Position Summary: The Certified Mobility Consultant (CMC) is responsible for sales, gross profit levels, customer and vendor relations, and developing competitive market intelligence. By his or her actions, the Certified Mobility Consultant greatly affects WMK Inc., dba MobilityWorks market penetration, product development, sales volume, and responsiveness to market influences.This position is Base+Commission. Essential Job Functions and Duties: Acquire and maintain adequate product knowledgeDemonstrate professional personal and business behaviorGenerate and maximize sales volumeMaintain effective customer follow-up proceduresUnderstand selling and utilize the selling process, following the established sales systemsEffectively sell all products and services, as required by the General ManagerCompletely know inventory status of in-stock and on-order vans, including targeted or over-age inventory in software systemTreat all customers in an enthusiastic, courteous, and helpful manner. Strive for complete customer satisfactionPrepare and provide quotes for prospects in a complete, accurate, and timely mannerAssist prospects in securing all desired informationComplete all paperwork accurately and quickly, as defined by branch policies and proceduresComply with branch policy in all activities, including customer follow-up, customer referral, prospecting, hours, data entry, etcMeet or exceed agreed-upon goals for gross profit, van sales volume and closing ratios. CMCs with one year of experience or more should be generating a minimum average of $25,000 per month in GPProvide feedback to the General Manager on goals, programs, and market situations· Complete other duties as assignedPosition Qualifications and Entrance Requirements: High school diploma or GED requiredAbility to plan, direct and control the activities of othersDeal with all types of peopleExcellent customer service skills and experience is requiredSolid verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are requiredExperience working independently with minimal supervision is requiredCandidates must successfully complete criminal and motor vehicle background check and pre-employment drug screeningPhysical Demands/Work Environment: Able to function capably in an office environment using standard equipment (telephones, fax machines, computers, copiers, etc.)Must be able to complete office-related physical activities (walking, standing, talking, hearing, pushing, reaching, seeing, stooping/crouching, smelling, depth perception, identifying colors) as needed.
