2026 Risk Management Off-Cycle Internship Program (Paris)

Placement And DurationThe Off-Cycle Internship Program is an opportunity to experience the culture and atmosphere in the Risk Management Division by taking on the below responsibilities. The internship typically lasts six to twelve months but can vary in length depending on business needs and candidate availability. This opportunity is Full Time.The cornerstone of Morgan Stanley's risk management philosophy is the execution of risk-adjusted returns through prudent risk-taking that protects Morgan Stanley's capital base, liquidity and franchise.Training programYou will receive on-the-job training and benefit from working alongside experienced professionals on a variety of projects. This role crosses over multiple areas of Risk giving you exposure to teams not limited to Credit Risk, Market Risk, Risk Analytics and Operational Risk.ResponsibilitiesWork closely with the Risk team to help to:prepare departmental presentations to senior management, including proof reading and formattingcompile and analyse risk data and maintain databases, as necessaryenhance existing analytical tools used by the various risk stripesensure completeness and accuracy of data in the analytical tools and systems by performing reconciliations with the data sourcecoordinate regulatory deliverables and self-assessmentsreview and take meeting minutesRequirementsYou have outstanding analytical skillsYou have good communication skills, both verbal and writtenYou have a solid academic background and fluency in English. Knowledge of French is beneficial but not essentialYou are a strong team player; have an ability to collaborate with colleagues across the Risk department and the broader organizationYou are a self-starter with the ability to work independentlyYou are driven, highly motivated and results-focusedYou have strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently and effectivelyYou are detail oriented and have the ability to work efficiently within tight time constraintsEstimated start date: July 2026Morgan Stanley is an equal opportunities employer.
