Direct Care Staff – Part-Time Position Seeking to hire individuals in the role of a Direct Care Giver, for high functioning adult clients with intellectual disabilities who live an active lifestyle. Flexible shift schedule Basic Job Responsibilities – Prepare meals for Clients Assist Clients with everyday items Actively engage Clients in the Community Take Clients on Activities, sporting events, outings, trips and dinners Understanding of a Client’s limitations and behaviors Provide care with a positive mindset and attitude Prior Group Home Experience – 2 years required Qualified Candidates must be able to provide the following – Resume High School Diploma and/or College Transcript Three personal references Current driving license Local law background Clean three-year driving record Pass a Level 2 background check Obtain or possess a First Aid/CPR/AED certificate - HIV certificate APD Courses – HIPAA, Direct Core Competencies, Zero Tolerance Administer medication if qualified **All required Training courses are paid for by the company. ** Benefits – AFLAC Supplemental Insurance after 90 days Quarterly Bonus Travel – Out of town & Country (paid for by Company) Starting pay – $15.00 Job Type: Part-time Pay: $15.00 - $15.50 per hour Benefits: Flexible schedule Professional development assistance Schedule: 8 hour shift Experience: Caregiving: 2 years (Required) License/Certification: Driver's License (Required) CPR Certification (Required) Work Location: In person
