What You'll DoMakes general repairs to equipmentPerforms routine maintenance on equipmentWelds and fabricates parts as needed to facilitate repairsCompletes all required documentation of service work performedFills in for the Plant Operator or Loader Operator when regular staff are outFollows all company policies and procedures in accordance with guidelines established by Arcosa managementEnsure that all work activities are conducted in a safe mannerOther duties/responsibilities may be assignedWhat You'll NeedKnowledge and understanding of aggregate recycling operations, preferred Understand what it takes for a customer-oriented business to be successful and what it takes to provide the products/services necessary to meet the customers’ needs on a timely basisAbility to effectively communicate, in English, both verbally and in writing at all levels of the organizationAbility to read and understand basic reports, and complete routine mathematicsKnowledge of various types of welding processes (sheet metal, ironwork etc.)Ability to lift fifty (50) lbs. pounds with regularity and up to seventy-five (75) pounds in some casesComplete understanding of the workings of equipment used by the companyCompensationThe pay range for this position is $36.44 to $44.67 per hour.
