Project Management Consultant

DescriptionThe Project Management Consultant will support the planning coordination and execution of electrical infrastructure and grid-related projects including transmission substation and compliance driven initiatives. This role is ideal for candidates with an electrical engineering background or equivalent industry experience who are early-career to midlevel and looking to grow within largescale utility or energy programs. The consultant will work closely with engineering operations vendors and compliance stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on schedule within scope and aligned with regulatory and safety requirements.ResponsibilitiesSupport project execution across electrical transmission substation or grid compliance programsDevelop and maintain schedules milestones and action tracking using MS Project and/or SmartsheetCoordinate with engineering operations vendors and compliance stakeholdersTrack risks issues costs and deliverables support change managementPrepare status reports meeting notes and project documentationParticipate in project meetings and site visits as neededAdditional Skills & Qualifications0-5 years of experience in project management engineering support or utility/energy projectsElectrical Engineering degree preferred or equivalent power/utility experienceExperience or exposure to Grid compliance or regulated utility programs and or Transmission lines substations or power infrastructureFamiliarity with MS Project Smartsheet and Microsoft OfficeStrong organization communication and coordination skillsPreferred SkillsUtility or NERCrelated project exposureField experience with substations or transmission assetsConsulting or contractbased project experienceJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Palm Beach Gardens, FL.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $39.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
