The position plays a key part in maintaining smooth operations within the medical staff office. Key Responsibilities Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to unit safety and infection control protocols. Stay current with Medical Staff Bylaws, Rules and Regulations, and departmental policies. Accurately update and manage credentialing databases. Oversee the Emergency Department call schedule and related coordination. Track and update data according to expiration dates. Coordinate graduate medical education activities. Prepare responses to verification and information requests. Manage medical record delinquency notifications and fine processes. Support Medical Staff committees, departments, and divisions as needed. Assist with other administrative functions to support medical staff office operations. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years experience in medical office or healthcare settings; experience in a medical staff office preferred. Proficient with computer applications, including medical staff database software and Microsoft Office. Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail. Effective and professional communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently. Education High school diploma or GED required.
