The SAP Specialist works closely with Operations, Finance, S&OP, and Distribution. Will provide support during internal and external auditing. This is a salaried non-exempt day shift position.Design, create, and maintain all plant files used for production, inventories, and raw material consumption. This includes excel formulas, and VBA programmingProvide the finance group with accurate accounting of controllable cost information for each monthProvide information or support for any plant auditsProvide accurate data for month end closings to the financial groupCreate monthly process orders and maintain and modify production recipes in SAP on a yearly or more frequent basisProvide training and contribute to the skill development of the complex operations personnel related to SAP Production modules or Visitrack systemConduct the necessary transactions in SAP to limit variances between Physical inventories, production, and consumption to SAPWork closely with Operations and Finance to achieve yearly plant budgets for raw material usages, recipes, and production volumes Check for accuracy in daily plant files used to obtain production volumes, inventory levels, and raw material consumptionsMust be able to provide off shift support as well as the 1st of each month for closeOther duties as assignedAbout YouYou should possess:Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalentTechnical education and/or degree are preferredAt least three years of experience in raw materials, plant capability, quality, and inventory requirements preferably in a manufacturing environmentExcellent computer skills (SAP and Microsoft Office)Possess an understanding of the relationships between Production Planning, Sales and Distribution, and Materials Management in SAP modulesSchedule/HoursThis is a salaried non-exempt day shift position.Our Ashtabula, Ohio Complex, consisting of two plants just south of Lake Erie, is a state of the art manufacturing complex with leading technology and more than 45 years of manufacturing excellence.INEOS Pigments offers a competitive salary with an annual bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, long-term disability with the buy-up option, basic life & AD&D insurance with a buy-up option for self and dependents, 401(k) with company match.EOE M/F/Vet/DisabledKnow Your Rights: Workplace discrimination is illegal (eeoc.gov)
