*Duties*
- Conduct thorough eye examinations to assess vision and detect eye diseases.
- Prescribe corrective lenses, including glasses and contact lenses.
- Provide patient education regarding eye health, treatment options, and preventative care.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient management.
- Stay updated on advancements in optometry practices and technologies.
- Utilize electronic health record systems (such as Epic) for efficient patient management.
- Assist with sales of eyewear products while ensuring excellent customer service.

- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to the visual system.
- Proficiency in patient care practices and a commitment to maintaining high standards of service.
- Familiarity with ophthalmology principles and practices is preferred.
