CDL Class A Driver

Job Overview We are seeking a licensed CDL A Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of trucks to transport goods and materials to different locations (Short hauls). You will be home every night. This is a seasonal job with the opportunity to become full-time with benefits. This job does pay overtime for any hours worked over 40 hours. During the season you are guaranteed 60+ hours a week. Duties - Safely drive different types of trucks such as tractor-trailers, walking floor trailers, dump trucks, flatbeds, dry vans and hopper bottom trailers - Transport agricultural commodities over short distances - Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment - Follow traffic laws and maintain a clean driving record - Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns Skills - Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) - Proven experience as a truck driver or relevant position - Ability to drive various types of trucks - Knowledge of truck maintenance and repair - Strong communication skills - Excellent time management skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
