DescriptionThe Sr Sustainability TPM will play a pivotal role in defining and implementing product line strategies and initiatives to help new business areas decarbonize to reach net zero. They will also work cross-functionally across the Amazon Devices to develop and implement sustainability programs that will bring about measurable environmental benefits. The successful candidate must have a solid understanding of sustainability or hardware development to translate this knowledge into actionable initiatives for devices products. The successful candidate also has strong communication, analytical skills, and the ability to apply systems thinking to complex, fast moving problems.Key job responsibilitiesIn this role, you will work in a collaborative, analytical, and fast-paced environment and must be comfortable interacting with highly technical cross-functional teams. The candidate must have strong business judgment, dive deep into data, have strong writing skills and be comfortable leading executive-level reviews. Candidates must be able to analyze and implement lifecycle models with appropriate KPIs for different customer segments.A day in the life- Work with leadership team to set the customer strategy and make appropriate high-judgment trade-offs between features and sustainability needs- Manage entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical execution and work with key internal and external stakeholders to deliver on that vision, e.g. engineering, product management, etc- Establish goals and reviewing metrics to identify opportunities and deliver success- Research and identify new opportunities to innovate on behalf of our customers- Anticipate bottlenecks, manage risk and escalations, and balance the business needs versus technical constraintsAbout the teamAmazon is committed to building a sustainable future for our customers, local communities, and the planet. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
