DescriptionFull job descriptionThis position is at the offices of Pinnacle ENT, which specializes in ENT, allergy and sinus, hearing loss, sleep/snoring and facial plastic services. This position is a full time, in person position and requires local travel to our locations in Kennett Square and West Grove.Job OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Audiology Technician to support our audiology team and ensure smooth operations within the clinic.ResponsibilitiesPatient Scheduling and Coordination:Schedule appointments for audiology evaluations, hearing tests, fittings, and follow-up visits using our EMR system.Schedule and make telephone calls to patients and others as necessary.Build Audiology schedules in EMR and audiology PM system and ensure correct diagnostic/hearing aids blocks are accurate.Patient CommunicationReturn hearing aid patient phone calls and assist in patient troubleshooting.Assist in scheduling of Hearing Aid Evaluations and checksProvide resources to patients regarding specific technology/supportPatient Records ManagementEnsure accurate and confidential maintenance of patient records, including updating personal information, medical history, and billing details.Insurance Verification And Billing Support Verify insurance coverage and benefits for hearing aid patients prior to their appointments Assist in billing processes as directed by RCM managerInventory ManagementMaintain and track inventory of audiology equipment, supplies, and hearing aidsPlace orders for necessary supplies and assist with management of vendor relationshipsAssist AudiologistsComplete basic hearing aid repair services on hearing aids.Perform basic hearing tests under the supervision of an audiologist (e.g., tympanometry, OAE screenings, pure-tone screening)Schedule and maintain service on audiology equipmentBenefits401(k) with employer contributionMedical, Dental and Vision insuranceFlexible spending account and Health Savings AccountCompany paid life, short and long term disability insuranceGenerous Paid time off and paid holidaysVoluntary insurance options including pet insurance!
