Dev Ops Engineer

Responsibilitiesoperate, improve and maintain computer infrastructure using Slurm, Github, Docker, and Podmanscale and optimize on-premise Large Language Model (LLM) infrastructurecollaborate with research engineers to execute innovative research ideasbuild and package open-source software across multiple ecosystems, and maintain on-premise repositories and documentationimplement and operate monitoring and observability systemsSkills, Qualifications, and Experiencea bachelor's degree in a technical fieldstrong troubleshooting and creative problem-solving skillsexcellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skillsextensive experience designing, deploying, and supporting Linux servers and desktops, and supporting infrastructureextensive experience managing, automating, and orchestrating system configuration, software provisioning and application deployment (implementing infrastructure as code)experience building and packaging software from source on Linux, managing build ecosystems and repositoriesunderstanding of systems and network protocols (DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS) and UNIX/Linux system internals (kernel, file systems) (considered a plus)experience deploying, supporting, integrating, debugging, and patching essential open-source and proprietary infrastructure services (DNS, LDAP, Radius, NFS, Kerberos, OpenSSL) (considered a plus)experience implementing, improving, and operating monitoring and observability systems (ideally open-source; considered a plus)***The base salary for this position ranges from $191,000 to $235,000. In addition to base salary, total compensation includes a discretionary bonus, participation in an incentive compensation plan, and very generous benefits.
