Senior Java Developer Only W2

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer & Team Lead with strong expertise in both back-end Java development and modern front-end frameworks (preferably Angular or ReactJS). The ideal candidate will have experience leading migration projects from mainframe to Java-based systems, demonstrate leadership and management skills, and possess the ability to guide teams through complex technical transformations. Exceptional communication skills are essential for collaborating with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams. Lead end-to-end migration of legacy mainframe applications to modern Java and front-end (Angular/ReactJS) platforms Architect, design, develop, and deploy scalable Java applications with integrated front-end solutions Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of developers, fostering skill growth and best practices Collaborate with clients, business analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions Communicate project status, technical concepts, and complex issues clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences Oversee resolution of day-to-day production issues and manage change requests efficiently Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure high-quality deliverables Coordinate project tasks, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful project execution Document migration strategies, technical solutions, and process improvements Skills: Strong hands-on experience in Java development (Spring Boot, REST APIs, etc.) Proficiency in front-end development using Angular or ReactJS Demonstrated experience leading migration projects from mainframe to Java environments Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to diverse audiences Proven ability to work with clients and internal teams to resolve production issues and manage change requests Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools Job Types: Full-time, Contract Experience: Spring Boot, REST APIs: 5 years (Required) Java: 5 years (Required) Angular or ReactJS: 5 years (Required) Ability to Commute: Santa Fe, NM 87501 (Required) Work Location: Hybrid remote in Santa Fe, NM 87501
