Role Overview
The William Everette ERP Solution Architect (Workday and ADP Workforce centric) shall be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
Oversight and collaborating (aligned with best practices and quality assurance) on functional, data and technical design architecture, development, implementation, and Hypercare maintenance and support of ERP and Time and Attendance and Payroll SaaS/Cloud systems and solution. This role collaborates closely with business and IT stakeholders, functional teams, IT Vendors and client IT to ensure ADP Workforce and Workday SaaS/Cloud solutions align with business, data and technical requirements and support operational excellence. This position requires a blend of functional and technical (especially cloud/SaaS landscape) expertise, leadership capabilities, and effective communication skills to deliver value through an innovative and reliable ADP Workforce and Workday SaaS/Cloud solution.
Key Responsibilities
Functional, Data and Technical Best Practices: Oversight and leadership of overall solution throughout the lifecycle of the implementation.
Solution Technical and Functional Blueprint: Oversight and collaboration of the functional, data and technical design and architecture of ADP Workforce and Workday/Cloud solution, ensuring alignment with business processes, technical standards, and best practices.
Development: Oversee ADP Workforce and Workday business, data and IT development activities including landscape, environments, release management, integrations and data conversion.
Technical Guidance: Provide best practice oversight to technical teams, ensuring adherence to a SaaS/Cloud optimized system foundation, scalability, system performance, system patches and enhancements and compliance with ADP Workforce and Workday support and maintenance policies.
Integration Guidance: Strong integration & architecture design oversight. Good understanding and hands on experience using integration best practices i.e. Workday Enterprise Interface Builder, Workday Studio and other integration tools (e.g. REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, etc.).
Security Guidance: Oversight and best practices in Workday and ADP Workforce security model (roles, domains, SSO) and cyber security including scans.
Business and Technical Alignment: Ability to translate complex Workday and ADP Workforce concepts into business-friendly language.
Cross-platform process orchestration: Oversee functional and IT teams to integrate best practice solution with existing systems and business processes to future state ecosystem.

Documentation: Provide best practice oversight and quality assurance of functional and technical architecture documentation.
Quality Standards: Provide best practice oversight and quality assurance to ensure adherence to SaaS/Cloud best practices, standards, and methodologies.
Compliance: Provide best practice oversight and quality assurance to ensure solution complies with regulatory requirements, data privacy laws, and security standards applicable to the organization.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: 10+ years of ERP solution architect experience, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or lead role overseeing implementation.
5+ years’ experience with Workday and/or ADP Workforce as a solution architect.
5+ years of Time Tracking, Absence, Payroll or payroll architecture and integrations.
Solution architecture and integration gap and trade-offs analytical & problem-solving capabilities.
Experience working in public-sector or highly regulated environments strongly preferred.
Familiarity with unionized workforces, complex labor rules, and governance structures is highly desirable.
Strong leadership, with the ability to lead functional and technical collaborative workshops, work products and deliverables.
Experience in leading and oversight of cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver Workday and ADP Workforce SaaS/Cloud solutions that meet business requirements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to collaborate with business users, functional teams, IT teams and IT support teams to translate business and technical requirements into optimized ERP solutions.
