We are looking for a talented Electronics Test Engineer you will be responsible for coordinating and executing Laboratory Testing. You will support, develop, document, and analyze product quality and performance. Engineering knowledge, hands-on experience and functional familiarity of test systems are required to produce accurate, reliable, technical, and timely data for the Customer. Main Responsibilities: Support multiple groups and spearheading novel solutions and testing. Lead the testing operations and provide technical support as required. Act as a support team member to address electrical, electronics and control system challenges. Technical responsibility for organizing, executing, and coordinating Customer jobs within mechanical, environmental and vibration area. Read and understand test specifications as related to mechanical testing with primary focus on electrical, electronics and control test systems, both bench and dyno level. Ability to conceptualize, develop, implement, and troubleshoot test solutions. Ability to conceptualize, design (Inventor/CAD) implement and troubleshoot test fixtures. Strong aptitude for post test data processing and reporting. Act as a liaison with internal Customers with responsibility for acting independently on technical matters pertaining to the test engineering field. Monitor tests in progress to ensure they are running to specification. Use a Windows based computer system to access relevant test procedures and quality system documents, enter measurement data, store, and retrieve files from the network, etc. Work with the laboratory staff daily to ensure quality testing. Communicate project needs on time to ensure Customer satisfaction. Ensure work is performed in a safe manner using all available safety equipment. All other related duties as assigned. Possess mental faculties consistent with performing the minimum requirements of the job. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering discipline or related. Working knowledge of electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, meters Experience with wiring, connectors, relays, switches and other automotive electronics Ability to read a schematic, make measurements and troubleshoot electrical circuits Minimum of 2 years of experience in an engineering testing environment. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Proven knowledge of engineering testing, including methods, equipment, reporting and analysis. Ability to work well in a Team environment. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong independent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Possess a high degree of personal discipline, including multi-tasking and prioritization of activities. High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse people and cross-functional teams. Strong Microsoft Office skills. Physical Requirements: The position is located in a mixed office and test laboratory environment and will involve hands-on work. Physical activity may include lifting (up to 50lbs.), bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, hand-eye coordination, and manual dexterity or sitting for long periods of time.
