Locum Tenens Cardiovascular Surgeon Opportunity in Colorado We have an exciting opportunity for a Locum Tenens Cardiovascular Surgeon to join our team which is located near HIGHLANDS RANCH, CO. Assignment Details: Specialty: Cardiovascular Surgery Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing Shifts: 5p-6a, 2 weekends per month with some sporadic weekday call coverage Qualifications: Board Certified Cardiovascular Surgery (ABMS/AOA) - Required Active Colorado License or active IMLC - Required Active BLS, ACLS - Required Must note provider is able to perform all required procedures - REQUIRED Clean background/no malpractice - Required COVID vaccinated - Required, note at the time of name clear Job Description: Call coverage needed, ongoing as soon as credentialed Friday, Saturday, Sunday, some vacation weekday call coverage 5p-6a Hospital-based 100% Adult 10-15 hospital-based patients on average per day PPD: 1-2 Admissions, 8-10 ICU, 1-2 Surgeries Level I trauma EMR: Epic 2 Physicians in practice, 5 Mid-levels Reason for coverage: change in staffing, looking to backfill Required to supervise and provide clinical oversight as appropriate while on call. No other thoracic surgeons will be present during locum call coverage.
