Location: Waltham, MA | Hybrid - 3 remote days/weekPay Rate: $30-$35/hourSchedule: Full-time, Temporary | Monday-Friday, 7:30-4Assignment Duration: Long-term, starting May 2026 through January 2027About the OpportunityA well-respected law firm is seeking a highly motivated Temporary Marketing & Business Development Specialist to support strategic business development initiatives, client engagement efforts, and marketing operations. Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Business Development, this role plays a critical part in driving law firm growth, enhancing attorney business development strategies, and delivering compelling RFP responses, pitch materials, and market insights.This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative, high-performing team where creativity, analytical thinking, and proactive execution are highly valued.Qualifications & Skills3+ years of experience in legal marketing, business development, or professional services marketingStrong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProven ability to work both independently and collaborativelyHigh attention to detail and strong organizational skillsExperience building relationships with stakeholders across all levelsProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign) and Microsoft OfficeKey ResponsibilitiesSupport the firm's business development (BD) strategy by assisting attorneys and practice groups with business planning, goal setting, and performance trackingParticipate in the BD intake process for new hires, helping implement tailored business development plansResearch, draft, and manage RFP responses, pitch proposals, and client-facing materialsConduct market research, competitive analysis, and client/prospect intelligence gatheringTrack and analyze business development metrics, including win/loss data and engagement trendsMaintain and enhance a centralized BD resource library (pitches, templates, client communications)Collaborate on marketing initiatives such as events, sponsorships, and membershipsSupport legal marketing events with pre-event research and post-event follow-upManage and update CRM systems to ensure accurate tracking of client interactions and opportunitiesDevelop data-driven insights to inform client targeting strategies and marketing campaignsReport firm data for industry rankings and publicationsContribute to internal marketing incentive programs and firm-wide initiativesApply Today!If you're a strategic thinker with a passion for legal marketing, client development, and data-driven storytelling, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact.Apply today to elevate your career in marketing and business development.Founded in 1969, JOHNLEONARD, a woman-owned business, is the premier staffing choice in Boston and beyond.
