Avionics Production Engineer

About the CompanyWe are seeking an Avionics Production Engineer for an important client supporting aerospace/avionics production operations. This role is ideal for an engineer with hands-on experience supporting avionics components, harnessing, electronics, PCB/EEE parts, and electromechanical assembly through the full production lifecycle.About the RoleThe selected candidate will work closely with leadership, engineers, technicians, procurement, and production teams to support daily manufacturing execution, resolve production issues, and ensure hardware moves efficiently through the production process.ResponsibilitiesTranslate engineering procedures, drawings, and technical documentation into clear production workplansSupport avionics hardware production with a focus on harnessing, electronics, PCB, EEE parts, and electromechanical assemblyPartner with leadership to manage daily priorities and production workplansTrack, manage, and drive hardware/production issues to closureCoordinate with engineering, technicians, procurement, and kitting teams to support production needsAssist with procurement tracking, issue resolution, and production constraintsReview discipline-specific drawings, vendor documentation, and manufacturing requirementsSupport a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary aerospace production environment QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field3–5+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, avionics production, or electronics manufacturingExperience with harnessing, wire harnesses, PCB, EEE parts, or electromechanical assemblyAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, procedures, and vendor documentationStrong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and collaborativelyExperience supporting production issue resolution, documentation, kitting, or procurement coordinationAbility to adapt to evolving project and department needs Preferred SkillsExperience with Boltline or similar production tracking/work planning toolsFamiliarity with MS Project or similar scheduling toolsPrior experience working in avionics, aircraft, spacecraft, defense, or aerospace manufacturing environmentsApply today if you are interested in supporting high-impact aerospace/avionics production work with an important client.
