Job Overview
We are seeking a detail oriented and organized bookkeeper to join our team at Klinger Insurance Group. As a bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining financial records, processing account payables and receivables, reconciling bank statements, and preparing financial reports for the insurance agency. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent mathematical skills, and proficient in QuickBooks.
Salary Range: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour

Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and financial compliance
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field is a plus
Certification as a bookkeeper is desirable but not required

Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the insurance agency.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data.
Prepare and file financial reports for management and regulatory requirements.
Assist in budget creation and financial forecasting
Collaborate with other team members to ensure financial compliance and accuracy
Manage payroll and employee compensation records
Monitor and track expenses, ensuring adherence to budget guidelines
Communicate with vendors and clients regarding financial transactions
Identify and resolve financial discrepancies and accounting errors
