The Barback will have a customer service focused attitude and a commitment to ensuring the highest standard of service to provide a positive guest experience. We are currently looking for a: Adventureland Park - Barback Roles & Responsibilities: Roles & Responsibilities Keep the bar stocked with liquor, syrups, glasses, napkins and all other necessary items before and during service hours. Prepare garnishes, refill ice wells, change beer kegs and restock napkins and straws. Clean up the spills, remove the glassware and organize the counter. Keep the bar area neat and clean. Coordinate with managers, kitchen staff and security personnel to ensure efficient service to customers. Handle emergency situations, like cleaning up broken glasses and clearing up clogged drains. Maintains a knowledge of the menu items Ability to explain how various menu items are prepared Adheres to all bar related safety training such as TIPS and IPACT Stores and stocks refrigerators, ice machines, cups, straws, napkins and other service items as needed Sanitizes and cleans service areas and bar tops, as needed Understands and applies all health department standards Takes to-go orders and retrieves them from the kitchen, when needed Always refrains from on-the-job consumption of alcohol Maintains professional appearance and adheres to uniform standards Reports hygienic or maintenance issues in a timely manner Responds to all emergency situations as needed Cooperates with other departments to provide a positive guest experience Completes additional duties as assigned by supervisors, managers, or directors Education: There are no minimum educational requirements. However, Barbacks must be at least 18 years of age.
