Regional Manager – Fire Operations (Full-Time)Position Summary: Dynamic Aviation is seeking a strong, safety-focused aviation leader to serve as Regional Manager – Fire Operations. This role provides full oversight of regional fire aviation operations, ensuring safe, compliant, efficient performance while meeting contract requirements and financial goals.Comprehensive Compensation and Benefits:Competitive base salary: $90,000–$125,000 annuallyFull suite of medical, dental, vision insuranceHSA/FSA accounts401(k) plan with company matchPaid Time Off (PTO)Holiday PayEmployee Assistance Program, life/disability insuranceKey Responsibilities:Lead and manage all regional fire aviation operations, maintenance, aircraft, and personnelEnsure compliance with FAA regulations, safety standards, company policies and contract requirementsOversee budgeting, cost controls, and operational performance metrics (KPIs)Ensure dispatch reliability for all departing flightsBuild and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communicationCommunicate critical information to company headquarters, establish relationship with FBO and other service providersLead hiring, staffing, performance management, and team development.Coordinate trainingEngage with headquarters leadership, Logistics, Records all other relevant departmentsCreate the schedule and ensure personnel availabilityMaintain interior/exterior appearance of the aircraft to meet Dynamic Aviation standardsIdentify operational improvements and implement risk mitigation strategies.Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and administrative complianceOther duties as assignedRequired Qualifications:Current FAA pilot or mechanic certificate; must meet FAA Part 135 requirementsProven leadership and team management experienceStrong operational, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to work irregular hours and travel to individual sites as requiredStrong decision-making ability under pressureCommitment to safety and teamwork in high-tempo operationsPilot Minimums (If Applicable):FAA Commercial Multi-Engine and Instrument RatingFirst or Second-Class FAA Medical CertificateEligibility for Interagency Pilot Qualification Card (pilot carding process)1,500 hours total time1,200 hours PIC (airplane)200 hours PIC Multi-Engine Land (100 hours in last 12 months)200 hours PIC in mountainous/low-level terrain (<2,500' AGL, per 14 CFR 95.11)200 hours PIC Night500 hours PIC Cross-Country50 hours PIC actual instrument75 hours PIC simulated instrumentPreferred Qualifications:FAA Inspection Authorization (IA), or ability to obtain – if mechanic25 hours PIC in Beechcraft King Air (10 hours in last 12 months) – if pilotDegree or 6–10 years relevant aviation leadership experienceExperience managing fleet operations and budgetingFamiliarity with Emburse, Dayforce, or Pentagon ERP systemsRelocation to Southern California may be requiredIt is the policy of Dynamic Aviation to prohibit and eliminate discrimination on grounds of race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, childbirth or related medical conditions), sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, ancestry, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
