Position: Drafter Direct Start is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Drafter to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Drafter, you will be responsible for creating technical drawings and plans for construction projects. Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with engineers and architects to create accurate and detailed technical drawings for construction projectsUtilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to produce 2D and 3D drawingsReview and analyze technical specifications and blueprints to ensure accuracy and completenessMake necessary revisions and modifications to drawings as neededMaintain organized and up-to-date project documentationCommunicate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely completion of drawingsStay updated on industry standards and best practices for drafting and designParticipate in project meetings and provide input and suggestions for improvementAdhere to company and industry safety standards and regulations Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in drafting, architecture, or a related fieldMinimum of 2 years of experience in drafting, preferably in the construction industryProficient in CAD software, such as AutoCAD and RevitStrong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and precise drawingsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyKnowledge of construction materials and methods is a plusFamiliarity with building codes and regulationsWillingness to learn and adapt to new software and technology We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
