Warehouse AssociateAs a Shipper/Receiver, you will be responsible for managing incoming goods and ensuring they are accurately recorded and stored. You will play a crucial role in handling customer orders and efficiently organizing inventory within the warehouse.ResponsibilitiesReceive and inspect incoming goods, and update shipping records accordingly.Read customer orders and move, gather, or distribute items to the correct storage or staging areas.Label and place materials on racks, shelves, or in bins using predetermined sequences.Operate warehouse equipment, including reach truck and pallet jack, to transport items.Coordinate with the warehouse team to place stock in the correct locations.Essential SkillsProficient in shipping and receiving processes.Experience operating a reach truck and pallet jack.Ability to follow written and verbal assembly directions and mechanically inclined.Strong attention to detail and problem resolution skills.Ability to perform basic math calculations.Must be able to read, write, and speak English.Capable of lifting up to 50lbs.Additional Skills & Qualifications1 year of documentation experience.1 year experience in a shipping/receiving role.1 year experience in a distribution warehouse environment.1 year experience using a reach truck.Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.Why Work Here?After 120 days, enjoy a pay increase to a competitive rate. The work takes place in a spacious warehouse and office building of 145,000 square feet located in an upstate NY hub.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Liverpool, NY.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr.
