Essential Functions Delivers materials to job site, inspects and maintains truck, reports shortages and claims to supervisor and assists in loading and storing of materials. Not a CDL driver but may require some certification depending on state law.Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)Help with ensuring correct material is pulled and loaded on our truck for deliveryDeliver materials to the job siteRecording selected merchandise in accordance with standard operating proceduresEnsuring correct and complete labels are attached to all orders processedKeep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilizationCommunicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkersOperate and preventively maintain warehouse equipmentFollow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulationsWorking in accordance with all warehouse safety regulationsLoad finished product onto truckOther duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager regarding the warehouse or deliveriesNavigate equipment through a warehouse to collect customer ordersOther relative duties as assignedMinimum QualificationsMinimum Education – High School diploma or GEDForklift certification preferredClean driving record and current operator's licenseAt least 21 years of age to drive for the companyMust pass pre-employment background check and drug testKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesExperience driving trucks for deliveryKnowledge of architectural door materials and hardware preferredGood communication skills – Proper use of company issued devicesAbility to do arithmetic, read orders, write instructions and complete formsAbility to work closely & cordially with other staff associates Physical Demands Must be able to stand and walk for much of the day. Ability to lift 50-100 pounds frequently. Work Environment Other conditions may include proximity to forklifts or other heavy machinery and using various tools and hardware.
