Superintendent

Build complex projects the right way, from day one.RJM Construction is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field execution.This role is responsible for owning day-to-day field operations, driving schedule performance, and ensuring safe, high-quality execution across multiple trades in a complex renovation environment.The Superintendent will act as the primary field leader on site, ensuring coordination between subcontractors, maintaining project sequencing, and proactively resolving field issues in a fast-moving CM environment.You will:Lead all on-site construction activities from mobilization through closeoutCoordinate and manage subcontractors across multiple tradesDrive project schedule through short interval planning and daily execution controlEnsure safe jobsite operations and enforce OSHA compliance standardsManage field coordination in a complex adaptive reuse environmentCollaborate closely with Project Managers on sequencing, logistics, and issue resolutionOversee quality control and ensure work aligns with plans and specificationsMaintain site organization, documentation, and daily reportingSupport punch list completion and project turnoverWhat you’ll be leading:Field execution across all tradesSubcontractor coordination and performance managementJobsite safety and complianceSchedule adherence and recovery planningQuality control and field problem solvingSite logistics and daily coordinationWe’re looking for a Superintendent who has:5+ years of Superintendent experience in commercial constructionExperience leading ground-up or renovation projects in the $20M–$50M+ rangeStrong background in subcontractor coordination and schedule managementExperience in multifamily, healthcare, commercial, or complex interior constructionAbility to manage fast-paced field environments with multiple active tradesStrong understanding of construction sequencing, means and methods, and jobsite logisticsIdeal experience backgrounds include:Superintendent or Senior Superintendent in a GC environmentMultifamily or mixed-use construction leadershipHealthcare or occupied facility constructionComplex renovation or interior build-out projectsField leadership roles on $30M+ commercial projectsBonus (not required):Adaptive reuse or historic renovation experienceExperience working in CM Agency or CM at Risk environmentsStrong RFI-heavy project exposureExperience managing assistant superintendents or field teamsProcore or field management software experienceThis is not a light Superintendent role.It is a complex, field leadership position focused on:Running high-complexity renovation sequencingManaging unpredictable existing conditionsCoordinating multiple trades in tight urban environmentsDriving schedule on a technically challenging adaptive reuse projectYou will be expected to take full ownership of field execution and proactively solve problems before they impact cost or schedule.If you are a Superintendent who thrives in complex, fast-moving construction environments and wants to lead a challenging adaptive reuse project, we’d like to connect.
