Administrative Time and Attendance Specialist (USSS) (Washington, DC)

Vision Centric, Inc. is seeking contractors to ensure proper recording, processing, transmission, and correction of time and attendance records for the United States Secret Service (USSS) Office of Human Resources (HUM) in support of the employees' time and attendance information.The Time and Attendance (TA) Technician executes time and attendance functions, and provides administrative, technical and customer services affecting pay and leave entitlements for all Agency employees.This position is Full time and On-SiteJOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Examine time and leave record information to identify, analyze and correct errors to minimizedelays and incorrect payments; adjust records as needed to resolve issuesProvide customer support for agency personnel on using electronic TA systems to record timeand leave; advise managers and employees on regulatory requirements, and pay and leavepoliciesSupport TA processing and posting across multiple automated electronic systems withinestablished deadlines to ensure accurate and timely file updates; develop or run regular and adhoc reports necessary to ensure all timecards are processed on time in accordance with policyCreate and manage employee accounts and profiles in electronic TA systems, including passwordresets, resolution of access issues, and account deletionsMonitor end users' adherence to routine and special timelines and cutoff schedules to ensure timely data transmissions; advise managers and employees of pending deadlinesSupport development of training modules, and conduct training for supervisors and employees on using electronic TA systems to record and submit timecards; develop training materials and modify standard operating procedures when necessaryMaintain and update individual employees' certified time and attendance files in compliance with Federal regulations and requirementsSupport execution or conduct regular and recurring audits and reconciliations of TA files, standard operating procedures, and materials to determine compliance with applicable regulations and proceduresParticipate in development and/or testing of system enhancements and updatesEducation and Experience:Must have a minimum of FIVE (5) years of successful professional experience in one or more of the following areas: administrative office tasks, WebTA, or Contracting and procurement. Experience may be in the civilian sector, but Federal government experience in this area is preferred.High School DiplomaWorking knowledge and experience using WebTA 3.8 and Enterprise Personnel Scheduling (EPS) Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills: Analytical ability to define or recognize the dimension, scope of work involved, to compile data from multiple sources, to establish the facts, and to take or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines.Must be able to communicate orally and in writing, utilizing a high degree of tact and diplomacy, and possess strong interpersonal skills to effectively discuss matters with government employees, contractors, and military personnel of all levels.Must be able to work independently and professionally after given general guidelines of a task.Must have hands-on experience using Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, Project, and advanced proficiency in Excel. Requires substantial working knowledge of SharePoint for document management and collaboration. Proficiency in Adobe PDF tools for editing, managing, and organizing documents is also required.Must complete assignments accurately and in a timely manner on or ahead of scheduled due dates.
