As a certified nursing assistant or direct care aid, youll be the main caregiver for our patients with varied levels of mobility who require help with daily living activities like going to the restroom, getting dressed, eating regular meals, and bathing.Youll also need to accurately record patient vitals, monitor changes in behavior or symptoms, and answer call signals and bells to determine patient needs. If youre looking for a fulfilling career where you can make a real difference, we want to hear from you!Compensation- $17.50 plus shift differentialCompensation:$17.50 hourlyResponsibilities:Attend to the basic care and daily living needs of patients including going to the restroom, bathing, eating daily meals, taking proper medication dosages, and getting dressedCommunicate information with patient care providers and other nursing staff members to facilitate patient careWork with patients on regular exercise as needed to maintain their mobility level and physical healthMeet patients upon arrival and precisely catalogue measurements of the patient's vital signs including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and blood oxygen levelQualifications:Should have strong physical stamina to reposition and lift patients from beds to examination tables for wheelchairs and move medical equipmentExcellent communication skills that focus on creating and maintaining positive relationships between patient and familiesJob seekers must possess a high school diploma or equivalent such as GEDPrevious experience handling bedridden patients with age-related diseases such as Alzheimer's and Dementia preferredMust have completed the state-approved CNA training program and received CNA certification from a community college, vocational school, or medical facilityProficient computer skills and experience using computer database to ensure patient history is accurately recordedAbout CompanyStuarts Draft Retirement Community is a locally owned and operated senior living community in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley.
