We are growing rapidly and actively recruiting exceptional talent to join our mission of building the next-generation auto retail platform.What You'll DoOwn reconditioning decisions for Ever's EV inventoryTriage inspection reports and determine repair scope, priority, and budgetCoordinate work across internal technicians, third-party shops, dealers, and mobile vendorsSource and manage external service partners to optimize cost, speed, and qualityApprove estimates, negotiate pricing, and control reconditioning spendTrack vehicle status through inspection, repair, QA, and ready-to-sell stagesEnsure vehicles meet Ever's quality, safety, and merchandising standardsResolve technical issues and unblock stalled vehiclesMaintain accurate reconditioning records and documentationIdentify process improvements to reduce cycle time and costProvide feedback to Product & Ops teams to improve tooling and workflowsQualifications & Fit26+ years of experience in service advising, recon ops, or fleet maintenanceStrong understanding of automotive repair processes and cost driversComfortable making fast, data-driven repair decisionsExperience managing vendors, shops, or dealer service departmentsHigh ownership and strong operational mindsetDetail-oriented with strong follow-throughComfortable working in fast-paced, high-growth environmentsPassion for EVs and next-generation mobilityTechnical SkillsExperience with service DMS or recon management toolsAbility to read inspection reports, estimates, and labor opsFamiliarity with EV systems and common failure modesStrong Excel / Sheets skillsComfort using Slack, CRM, and ops dashboardsExperience negotiating labor rates and parts pricingBenefitsCompetitive salary + performance bonusHealth, dental, and vision insuranceFlexible / Unlimited PTO401(k) planWhy Ever and this Role?Run reconditioning for the fastest-growing EV retailer in the U.S.Make high-impact decisions that directly affect margins and velocityWork with cutting-edge EV technologyBuild elite operations and vendor management skillsDirect ownership over inventory readinessClear path to Operations Manager and other Ops Leadership rolesDisclaimersEver is an equal opportunity employer.
