Construction Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join a growing commercial general contractor in the St. Louis area. This role will be responsible for leading projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, detail-oriented, and experienced in managing multiple projects across a variety of commercial sectors.Key Responsibilities:Manage all phases of construction projects from preconstruction through completionDevelop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost forecastsLead project planning, subcontractor selection, and procurement processesCoordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractorsMonitor project progress and proactively address risks and challengesEnsure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company standardsReview and approve submittals, RFIs, change orders, and pay applicationsConduct regular site visits and project meetingsProvide leadership and mentorship to project engineers and field staffMaintain strong client relationships and ensure high levels of satisfactionQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred5+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects with a general contractorProven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budgetStrong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building systemsProficiency in project management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.)Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentPreferred Experience:Experience with projects in healthcare, education, industrial, commercial office, religious and civicFamiliarity with the St. Louis construction market and subcontractor baseFor immediate consideration, Please send a resume to Shelby.Volkl@TheAgencyRecruiting.com.About The Agency RecruitingThe Agency Recruiting is a specialized search firm connecting high-performing professionals with growth-focused organizations nationwide through strategic and confidential recruiting partnerships.
