Class A CDL Instructor

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced CDL Instructor whom will be responsible for delivering an in depth training to individuals seeking to obtain their Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). Responsibilities Deliver in-person, approved instructional activities that facilitate active learning in assisting individuals obtain their CDL. Establish and communicate daily objectives to the student body. Prepare classroom and or range for daily exercises. Instruct and monitor students on appropriate use of equipment. Provide appropriate feedback on work. Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students. Manage student behavior during Basic Control Skills/Behind the Wheel instructional sessions. Effectively communicate necessary information regularly to students. Be able to accurately assess student development and progress. Be able to correctly perform and demonstrate all required BCS/BTW skills/safe operation of a CMV. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Schedule: Day shift Monday to Friday Night shift Work Location: In person
