DescriptionDiscover your exciting roleThe Senior Lead Process Controls Engineer is responsible for the design, programming, installation, commissioning, and support of PLC-based control systems products used in manufacturing and industrial process environments.Explore Your Tasks And ResponsibilitiesDesign, program, test, and commission PLC-based control systems for industrial processes and equipmentDevelop and modify control logic, HMI/SCADA screens, and system documentationInstall, configure, and validate PLC hardware, I/O panels, field instruments, and networked devicesSupport startup activities, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for control system issues remotely or on a customer siteCollaborate with design engineers to translate customer process requirements into control strategiesMaintain and improve existing control systems to enhance reliability, safety, and performanceEnsure compliance with safety standards, electrical codes, and internal engineering standardsComply with control system backups, version control, and change management protocolsProvide technical support to customersAssist with capital projects, including customer coordination, FAT/SAT, and system acceptanceOther duties as assignedQualificationsShow your expertiseBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Automation, or a related field10+ years relevant experience programming and commissioning PLC systems in an industrial environmentHands-on experience with PLC platforms such as Allen-Bradley (Rockwell), Siemens, or equivalentExperience with HMI/SCADA platforms (e.g., FactoryTalk, WinCC, Ignition, Wonderware)Strong understanding of industrial networking (EtherNet/IP, Profinet, Modbus, etc.)Ability to read and develop electrical schematics, P&IDs, and control documentationStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skillsInternational travel may be required for system installation, commissioning, training, or troubleshootingPreferred QualificationsExperience with batch or continuous manufacturing processesKnowledge of safety PLCs, machine safety standards, and functional safety conceptsExperience with instrumentation calibration and process control tuning (PID)Familiarity with change management systems and regulated manufacturing environments common in the semiconductor manufacturing industryProject management or leadership experience on automation projectsExperience With The Following SoftwareAllen Bradley/Rockwell Studio 5000 CompactLogixOmron Sysmac StudioMaple Systems EB-PROMicrosoft Visual Studio VB PROApplicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.Non-Solicitation: We are not currently accepting third-party agency candidates for this position.
