Manufacturing Engineer

Trillium Professional is now seeking a Manufacturing Engineer / Senior Manufacturing Engineer in the Eau Claire / Chippewa Falls Area, WI (On-site with occasional remote flexibility)! Pay Rate (Salary): * Manufacturing Engineer: $32.26 - $39.59/hr Senior Manufacturing Engineer: $35.80 - $42.12/hr Shift: 1st Shift We are seeking a proactive Manufacturing Engineer to bridge the gap between product development and full-scale production. This role is responsible for designing efficient work cells, optimizing manufacturing systems, and driving process improvements to ensure a seamless transition for new products entering the production phase. Core Responsibilities -Project Management: Lead engineering initiatives, ensuring all technical deadlines and production expectations are met. -Process Optimization: Identify and implement manufacturing improvements to create more robust processes, equipment standards, and procedures. -Lean & Quality: Support facility-wide Lean initiatives (including 5S) and utilize root-cause analysis to implement permanent corrective actions. -Design for Manufacturability (DFM): Participate in design reviews to ensure new components are optimized for production efficiency. -Work Cell Design: Coordinate the layout and implementation of specialized work cells and plant-wide facility flow. -Documentation: Create and maintain process documentation, CNC programs, and ISO-compliant materials to ensure consistent manufacturing practices. Requirements -Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Processes, or a related technical field. -Experience: 3-5 years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment (Senior level requires advanced experience). -Technical Skills: * Proficiency in AutoCAD, Solid Modeling, and Mastercam. -Strong understanding of GD&T and Statistical Process Control (SPC). -Experience working within ISO 9001 standards and ERP systems. -Demonstrated knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles. -Soft Skills: Excellent logical reasoning, project tracking, and the ability to communicate technical data to various levels of the organization.
